OUR BACKSTORY....

Some of you know either Bobby or myself and not as many of you know us as a couple or our origin story.   I had been divorced for over 13 years and he had only been recently divorced after 26 years of marriage.  We met on an online dating site called Fitness Singles, we were both in different places.  I had given up on finding someone after 1,000 online dates (ok maybe that is a bit of an exaggeration but it sure felt like it).  I had finally resigned myself to being on my own, not having any more kids (I'd always wanted more than one), and had recently bought a townhome.  He had just started dating, had four kids and neither of us were looking for anything serious but still wanted to get out of the house to have fun on occasion and what better way than meeting a total stranger for coffee or drinks. :)   So we agreed to meet up.

On occasion, I have been accused of having a teenaged boy's sense of humor. Aside from the f--- jokes, which anyone who knows me, knows I hate that word, I prefer toot.  :)  Anyway, what better way to see if I am compatible with someone than to take them to a raunchy dueling piano bar and see how they react.  Needless to say, sense of humor and not easily offended are #1 and #2 on "my list".   
We had our first date on September 21, 2013 and the rest is history.....we were engaged on February 14, 2014 and married July 29, 2014.   I am truly blessed to have found such an adventurous, fun, loving, selfless, generous, talented and amazing man.  He seriously had everything on "my list of must have's in a husband" and then much more...........such as being smoking hot!!!  :)
